Book Review – Kerikeri Cookery Book

Baking is something that runs in both sides of my family, I have fond memories of going to either of my grandparents places and helping out baking cakes and biscuits.  Last year my Mum brought a box of bits and pieces that she had cleared out of my grandmas kitchen including a few unique tins and a old recipe book – The Kerikeri Cookery Book published in 1959.  It is a collection of recipes published by a church in the town where I grew up and is full of a wonderful combination of recipes that I have been working through.  Needless to say there a many gems in there that are worth sharing and although I doubt it would be easy to find another copy, so I hope you will enjoy the ones I have tried and shared here.
