Book Review: The Great NZ Baking Book

The Great New Zealand Baking Book by Allyson Gofton. 

This is another book I recently picked up from the library and found myself wanting to make a vast majority of the recipes. One of the things that struck me about this book was although a number of the recipes were familiar there were also a lot of them that were new to me.  I was especially interested in the international recipes including Persian, Greek, Scandinavian and European. The recipes cover a wide variety including biscuits, slices, scones, shortbread, cakes and desserts as well as helpful hints and tips.

Recipes I have tried from this book include Passionfruit Shortbread, Chocolate Peppermint Slice
