Recently I brought myself an ice-cream maker with the thought of making healthy ice-cream for the summer. After a few failed attempts I gave up. This week with the weather warming up here down under I was inspired to try again, this time I decided not to go quite so healthy. I am thankful the result was delicious and easy.
2 cups of cream
1/2 tin of sweetened condensed milk
few drops vanilla essence
Put all ingredients in a bowl and whip together
If you have an ice-cream maker put into maker
If not place into container and put in freezer.
Stir a couple of times during the freezing process.
This went down well with the fresh strawberries we got at the markets this weekend and is definitely going to be on the menu again over the summer.
